Joe Chang, PA-C is a certified physician assistant from the Duke Physician Assistant Program. He was awarded the VA Health Professional Scholarship and has served as a primary care physician assistant and acupuncturist at the VA Puget Sound- American Lake Division.
Previously, he worked for several years as an acupuncturist in an integrative PTSD outpatient program at William Beaumont Army Medical Center and Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center. Additionally, he has worked as a research consultant for a Department of Defense funded study on the use of acupuncture for Gulf War Illness for the New England School of Acupuncture at the Massachusetts School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences University.
In his spare time, he enjoys hiking, traveling, and photography.
