Susan Fuller is a board-certified family nurse practitioner with over 25 years of patient care. She is a Raleigh native having graduated from Millbrook High School then earning a BA in Psychology from North Carolina State University.

Later she returned to Wake Tech Community College and became a registered nurse. She has a diverse background with experience in primary care, neurology, neurosurgery, and most formally an Endoscopy nurse at UNC Rex Hospital before deciding to further her education as a family nurse practitioner.

Upon graduation, she worked in internal medicine for four years before transitioning to Wake Pain and Spine.

Susan‘s healthcare philosophy is treating each patient as an individual, focusing on building a mutual relationship of trust. She recognizes the profound impact that pain has on her patient’s life and is passionate about delivering exceptional care. Through patient education and the use of various proven methods, her goal is alleviating acute and chronic pain.

Outside of work, Susan enjoys spending time with family and friends, trying new restaurants, attending crafting classes, treasure hunting at antique festivals, traveling to Kure Beach, Blowing Rock and abroad. Additionally, she enjoys cheering on her favorite ACC team, the NC State Wolfpack.
