Doctor Trevor Van De Water earned his medical degree from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine-Greenville, and completed his residency in Anesthesiology at the Medical College of Georgia where he served as chief resident. He completed his fellowship in chronic pain at the world-renowned Johns Hopkins Hospital, gaining knowledge and training in interventional procedures, neuromodulation, and multidisciplinary approaches to treating complex pain conditions.
With a patient-centered philosophy, Doctor Van De Water is committed to improving quality of life for individuals suffering from chronic pain through evidence based treatments and emerging therapies. Doctor Van De Water frequently performs fluoroscopy-guided epidural steroid injections, facet and sacroiliac joint injections, radiofrequency ablation, and spinal cord stimulator trials. His clinical interests included chronic neck and back pain, spinal stenosis, neuropathic pain, cancer pain, pelvic pain, and neurostimulation. Doctor Van De Water is passionate about fostering strong therapeutic alliances with his patients, being a leader in his field, and continuing to expand the field of chronic pain through continued research efforts.
In his spare time, Doctor Van De Water loves to spend time by the pool and outdoors with his wife Rachel and their two pets, Lottie and Gus.
