Himanshu Kenjale is a certified physician assistant from the physician assistant program at Duke University. He continues to be a guest lecturer at the Duke PA program and is also a certified ABLS instructor.He has several years of experience with pain management while working at burn centers, where he treated and managed ICU patients and assisted with surgeries.
Mr. Kenjale also practiced as a Homeopathic Physician in Pune, India, after graduating with a degree in Alternative Medicine. Additionally, he holds a graduate degree in Molecular Biology and worked in a leading research lab involved in developing and testing HIV DNA vaccines.
Mr. Kenjale joins our practice with more than ten years of experience in the medical field. Over the years he has worked as a physician assistant at the UNC Jaycee Burn Center, Chapel Hill, NC and at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital Burn Center in Winston-Salem, NC.
Mr. Kenjale is no stranger to pain management as it is an important aspect of burn wounds care. He has dedicated himself to helping patients with debilitating and disabling pain symptoms, lead a functional life. With this experience and passion, he joins us to help patients overcome their chronic pain issues.
He likes to spend his spare time with his son on various sports activities, learning and reading about Homeopathy, dabbling in vernacular theatre, reading humorous novels, especially PG Wodehouse and traveling.
