Dr. Sakla is board-certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation with fellowship training in Interventional/Pain Management of Spine Disorders. He earned his medical degree at the Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Ft. Lauderdale, FL where he stayed to complete his residency in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. He went on to complete his fellowship training at Florida Spine Institute. He is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, American Osteopathic College of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, American Osteopathic Association, and Spine Intervention Society.
As a Physiatrist with a background in Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Sakla brings a unique holistic approach to pain management that is individualized to meet the needs of each patient. He incorporates various modalities including injection therapies, therapeutic exercises, and a multidisciplinary approach to enhance and restore functional ability and quality of life for his patients.
