Laurence Holman, NP
Laurence Holman is a nurse practitioner with more than 16 years of experience managing patients suffering from both acute and chronic illnesses. He spent a large portion of his time training and caring for patients in the emergency department, medical-surgical ICU, burn unit, cardiac catheterization and special labs at the hospitals in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Laurence received more training while serving as a Major in the Air National Guard. Attached to a CBRNE response unit, which is mobile trauma triage hospital that provides care for the patient involved in chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear or explosive incidents. He became interested in working with pain patients following an injury while serving in the military. Since then he has devoted his professional career to assisting patient suffering with chronic and acute pain. He believes in a holistic approach to pain, meaning pain can be treated with medications and procedures in addition to physical and psychological therapies.
